Nimesh Bhandari working as a Geospatial Application Developer Associate at ICIMOD since June 2023. During his one and half years at ICIMOD, Nimesh has been involved in creating digital platforms for geo–visualising in multiple projects such as CBAS-ICIMOD Partnership Project for SDG15 and Potential Use of Renewable Energy Demand for River Lift Irrigation in Nepal and Bhutan. His skill set includes WebGIS application development, specialising in Python and advanced geospatial analysis using Google Earth Engine and R programming.
Nimesh holds a bachelor’s degree in Geomatics Engineering from Kathmandu University, Nepal.
