ICIMOD as part of its USAID/NASA–SERVIR Himalaya regional initiative is organizing two days expert group meeting under the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) Technical Commission (VIII)/Working Group (7) – Forestry, Natural Ecosystems and Biodiversity.
Objectives
To develop scientific understanding and operational methodological framework to address multi scale forest biomass assessment and monitoring of the Hindu Kush Himalayan region using satellite imageries and geospatial information systems.
